| Ok, well i've always been the kinda girl who always sings when alone, not like a show type of singer. Tonight, I finally worked up the nerve to sing.. Being as nervous as I was, my voice was pretty scratchy at first and you couldn't hear me well, and I was sitting on a stool staring the opposite way of the audience. I knew the lyrics to the song but, I felt uncomfortable looking at everyone, cause their was like 20-40 people there. I just looked at the screen that showed the lyrics. I got more comfortable throughout the song, and I got sooo many compliments when I was done! My brother, who always use to see me singing when I was 6, would always be like 'YOU CAN'T SING' which didn't offend me. I knew I couldnt  And same thing at 9 years. But then tonight, well, he complimented me so much I thought he wasn't my brother. And everyone said I was the 'best singer of the  ', and 'keep working on your voice more, and youll be a pro but you sounded great!!' Im really happy <3 btw I sang the song 'A Thousand Miles' by Vanessa Carlton. | |
